FieldBidder ("we," "us," or "our") operates the FieldBidder construction estimating platform, accessible at this website. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

• Account information — name, email address, and password (managed securely through Clerk, our authentication provider).
• Company profile — company name, tagline, phone, email, and logo that you add under Settings. This appears on exported PDFs.
• Bid and estimate data — project details, line items, supplier search results, cost breakdowns, and activity logs that you create within the platform.
• Payment information — billing and subscription data processed by Stripe. We never store your full credit card number on our servers.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and error logs, collected to improve the platform.

• Provide, operate, and maintain the FieldBidder platform.
• Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• Power AI Supplier Search features using OpenAI's API — your search queries (material names and zip codes) are sent to OpenAI to generate supplier estimates. We do not send personal or project-identifying data to OpenAI.
• Send account-related emails (receipts, password resets, important service notices).
• Improve the platform based on usage patterns.

We use these trusted third parties to operate the platform:

• OpenAI — AI supplier price research. openai.com/privacy

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share your information only in these circumstances:

• With the third-party services listed above, to the extent necessary to provide the platform.
• When you generate a share link — the recipient can view your estimate but cannot access your account or other bids.
• If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of FieldBidder or others.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your bid data remains accessible for 30 days before permanent deletion. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Export your bid data in a portable format.
